NOTICES

BEREAVEMENTS This week we are holding the funerals at St Giles’ of husband and wife John and Nerys Jackson; also of Mary Groom, and of Bryan Baker. Please hold their bereaved families in you prayers.

CHILDREN’S BOOKS Scarlett Moore, a young member of our All Age Worship congregation, is collecting new/nearly new children’s books for the patients at Alder Hey hospital. If you have any books suitable for children between the ages of 0-16 please drop them off at church. If you feel you could support Scarlett’s appeal please ensure books are dropped off by Sunday 4th February at the latest as we will be dropping them off the following week.

MOTHERS’ UNION Our St Giles’ branch used money raised at its November coffee morning to send over 100 pairs of socks to the Berwyn Prison Appeal. They were gift-wrapped by Dewi Hughes and Rou Peglar, and distributed by the Berwyn Chaplaincy staff on Christmas Eve. The gifts were much appreciated. Many thanks to all concerned.
